The ISSoW project with Total went live on the 18th November 2006. This included the implementation of ISSoW on three North Sea offshore installations (Elgin, Alwyn and Dunbar) and an onshore terminal located at St. Fergus.
The process of engagement between Total and Petrotechnics involved standardisation of working practice across sites which had different operator heritages, and a transformation in the way work gets done. This has been combined with a programme of training and coaching plus a long term maintenance and support package. The result has already seen an improvement in safety and efficiency across Total operations.
